Import Files to VS Code

From Groundhog Learning

  1. Locate a folder in File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (macOS).
  2. Drag and drop the folder into the Explorer panel in VS Code.
  3. Choose to Copy or Add the folder to the workspace:
    • Copy creates a copy inside the workspace.
    • Add keeps the files in their original location but makes them accessible in VS Code.
  4. In this demo, we’ll choose Copy.
  5. If it doesn’t appear immediately, refresh the Explorer — the folder will show up.
